The new single by Perfect World
Out March 11
Trembling is the new single by Perfect World, the LA art rock/indie pop project of songwriter and filmmaker Nathan Castiel. It's an upbeat indie rocker that blends fuzzed out guitarmonies with an unstoppable sampled drum/percussion loop and off-kilter synths and piano.

Lyrics
For crying out loud
if I’d known that you’d
be so cruel to me

Then I wouldn’t have
waited so long to
declare my loyalty

And if I can’t see your face
then I get withdrawals again

I’m addicted to you
and the pain that you cause
is irrelevant

At the thought of you
I’m trembling
I’m trembling
At the thought of you
I’m trembling
Oh, oh
Thought of you
I’m trembling
I’m trembling
At the thought of you
I’m trembling
Oh, oh

It’s hard to explain
but the first time that
you caught my eye

Couldn’t see for the trees
that my forest
now had petrified

Under our bedrock
our earth is shaking
all the time

But who is to blame
when you’re living
on a fault line?

At the thought of you
I’m trembling
I’m trembling
At the thought of you
I’m trembling
Oh, oh
Thought of you
I’m trembling
I’m trembling
At the thought of you
I’m trembling
Oh, oh
(x2)
